Sustainability
We are working to reduce emissions across all three recognised scopes in line with sustainable healthcare practice.
- Scope 1: Reducing direct emissions through improved energy efficiency within the practice, including heating optimisation and equipment use.
- Scope 2: Minimising emissions from purchased electricity by using energy-efficient systems (e.g. LED lighting) and transitioning to renewable energy suppliers where possible.
- Scope 3: Reducing wider impacts through responsible procurement, minimising waste and single-use plastics (where clinically appropriate), promoting digital systems, and encouraging sustainable travel for staff and patients.
We are committed to continuously reviewing and improving our environmental impact as part of delivering a sustainable general dental and orthodontic service.
